The vessel M/V De-Sea-Ving in general is a very heavily built and solid vessel. The boat has a lot of potential as either a private yacht, commercial fishing vessel, expedition or small cargo vessel. The vessel is currently in the state of a refit in progress and not currently ready for service.
The hull and fittings are very seaworthy with minimal to no risk for the vessel to remain moored afloat.
This 1985 North Sea 63' is a fiberglass trawler with amazing potential! Without all the hassles and maintenance required like its steel hull counterparts, this roomy trawler would make a sensible floating condo, research vessel, or with a little bit of work, a fantastic long range cruiser. The current owner has recently put some upgrades into the interior and has been turning a profit, renting it out as a floating condo.
With both upper and lower salons there is plenty of room for entertaining guests or for a large family to lounge in comfort. In the aft of the upper salon, there is a 1/2 head with a toilet and sink. The lower salon also contains an electric fireplace for those cooler nights.
The galley on the upper deck is well equipped with a Viking range and Viking full size refrigerator/freezer. There are plenty of cabinets to store all of your kitchen supplies and the current owner also replaced all the galley countertops with granite in 2018.
Designed with 3 cabins and a convertible sofa bed in the upper salon, she comfortably sleeps 7. The master stateroom in the aft cabin contains a king bed with a new mattress, bought in 2018. The master head is well equipped with an electric toilet and a new tile shower, also completed in 2018.
The midship stateroom contains a newer queen memory foam mattress. There is also a small desk/workstation and closet to hang your wardrobe.
Moving forward of the midship stateroom there is another cabin with a twin bed and a head with a toilet and shower.
The engine room is well laid-out with plenty of room to maneuver and work. She's equipped with a single 400HP Cummins 855 Big Cam engine with a wet exhaust manifold and a Twin Disc 514 4:1 transmission.
The current owner has recently put some time and money into this trawler and she needs a only few more upgrades to make her the queen of the marina.
The seller states that the engine runs well but it is currently not fully rigged. She still needs the cooler to be hooked up and the intake and exhaust components of the engine to be completed in order to be able to move under her own power.
The 12kW Northern Lights generator with sound shield is present in the engine room however, it's not attached to any busses.
Much of the plumbing has been upgraded to pex lines in 2019 and can be seen in the photographs. A newer Peerless furnace was also recently installed for the toe kick, forced hot water heaters.
